Describe what you do in five words or less:

Reveal powerful people's secrets.

What makes a ‘trusted’ source?

A trusted source is someone with documents. Like I always say, an investigative journalist won't believe his, her or their mother or father without evidence.

How do you fact check information?

Repeatedly and with a professional fact checker.

Free press means __________

Believing in, supporting, and paying for journalism with which you don't always agree.

Going beyond headlines: why should we?

The most powerful people and the most powerful companies in the world thrive on knowing they can get away with many of their ill deeds going unnoticed. Going beyond the headlines is crucial in holding the powerful to account.

Tips for spotting fake news?

If you don't see obvious or reliable attribution, be wary of who said it and why.

What's your favourite verb?

To ask
A trusted source is someone with documents.
